Description

Our Account Representatives interact with our customers virtually, understanding their needs, and consulting to offer the right solutions within our Canine and Feline product portfolios. This position plays a crucial role in supporting our customer-centric business model and involves working with accounts in their respective territories to understand and identify the needs of veterinary clinics, shelters, and corporate accounts. You will be responsible for selling our Company’s Animal Health (AH) division products and ensuring that the Animal Health division is viewed as a provider of value and technical innovations aligned with our strategic focus - The Science of Healthier Animals.

Compensation and Benefits

Expected U.S. salary range: $62,000.00 - $97,600.00. Final salary determinations will take into account various factors, including primary work location and the candidate’s relevant skills, experience, and education. A summary of additional benefits can be found here.

Skills

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
Proficient in using MS Office, MS Teams, Outlook, and Salesforce
Strong ability to connect and build rapport quickly
Effective application of selling techniques
Ability to manage multiple customers/accounts simultaneously
Knowledge of animal health pharmaceutical products and distribution
Multilingual fluency (especially in Spanish) is preferred.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customers
Connect with key personnel to understand their business models and needs
Develop customer strategies to outline interactions and sales opportunities
Create territory-specific account plans for key customers
Collaborate with National Account Managers and Distribution Partners
Analyze monthly sales results and manage expenses within budget
Identify and select programs/services to address customer needs
Work with leadership to develop relevant offerings
Stay updated on industry trends and competitor landscape
Develop understanding of omni-channel demand generation tools
Meet learning and development objectives with leadership

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required
Demonstrated motivation with a focus on achieving results
Commitment to collaboration and understanding customer needs
Ability to independently manage diverse accounts and develop unique plans
Proficient computer skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and iPad use
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Education Requirements

Bachelor’s degree preferred

Experience Requirements

Sales experience and/or experience within the Animal Health industry is preferred
Knowledge of animal health biological and pharmaceutical products
Experience working with distribution networks is beneficial
