Key Responsibilities
- Proactively engage with all assigned tasks, demonstrating enthusiasm and initiative.

- Ensure completeness and accuracy of all orders.
- Accurately interpret and read prescriptions.
- Verify patient information and confirm appropriate physician authorization.
- Review orders for insurance approval and process accordingly.
- Document prescriber information by scanning it into our system.
- Establish patient records for prescriptions.
- Offer telephone support when required, handling both inbound and outbound calls.
Required Skills
- Exceptional attention to detail when reviewing and processing orders.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting prescriptions accurately.
- Strong data entry skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Effective multitasking capabilities.
- Ability to handle tasks with a sense of urgency.
Qualifications
- A verifiable High School Diploma or GED is essential.
- A strong attendance record is necessary for the first 90 days of employment.
- 1-3 years of experience in a pharmacy data intake role or a related field.
- An active Pharmacy Technician License with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy is required.
