We are seeking a Senior Marketing Manager, Brand for Amazon Flex, to help drive overall Amazon Flex awareness and consideration across our global audiences. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a cohesive worldwide brand strategy, including defining our value proposition, developing and executing brand campaigns – both media and creative, and building and maintaining a full suite of brand creative and repository. You will focus on working with agencies, including research, design experts, and marketing teams around the world to manage the development of brand playbooks, localization of global campaign materials for regional needs, and creation of new brand content as needed.

Our ideal candidate is both creative and analytical, and a seasoned expert in driving brand engagement for a growing business. This includes extensive experience in creating brand messaging and visual identities, with a strong visual design and art direction background. You will also have a demonstrated ability to use data, brand and performance metrics, and customer insights to inform strategic decisions and measure results. To be successful, you will need to thrive on ambiguity, be able to see the big picture, while also execute on a tactical level. You will also be an effective cross-team collaborator, with the ability to work across multiple creative projects and meet aggressive deadlines.

This role can be located in the Greater Seattle Area or NYC.

Key job responsibilities

  • Lead the worldwide brand strategy and roll-out across regions, ensuring cohesive alignment and ongoing management, including defining our value proposition to differentiate the program from competition.
  • End to end creative management from ideation to production. This will include working with internal designers and external agencies to deliver best in class brand creative that has a consistent look and feel.
  • Own Amazon Flex’s visual identity and be the brand custodian across markets
  • Work at a strategic level to champion bold and creative ideas that will build brand equity of Amazon Flex, and at a tactical level to ensure execution excellence.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with worldwide teams in marketing, communications, product, program, data science, business analytics, legal, and PR teams to create best in class brand strategies, and deliver accurate positioning and storytelling of our program and products.
  • Possess a deep understanding of our audience segmentation and lead the market research strategy to identify insights, set and optimize brand goals and targeting strategies.
  • Champion best practices in driving brand awareness and consideration, make recommendations regarding how to most effectively attract delivery partners to the Amazon Flex program, and support localization of campaigns for international geographies.
  • Build and execute brand marketing playbooks that are aligned to a global brand framework, regional marketing priorities, local business needs, and available resources.
  • Develop and own brand measurement framework – inclusive of brand health metrics and equity scores, channel attribution models, correlation and drivers analysis.
  • Own the goals and performance metrics for campaigns; monitor regularly to understand effectiveness of strategy and creative, making recommendations for improvement to drive perception and engagement, work with local markets to implement framework for market consistency.
  • Establish and maintain scalable processes, and develop and manage the maintenance of playbooks and assets.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in business with focus on marketing, communication, business, or a related field
  • 5+ years’ experience developing and managing brand and/or content marketing programs

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • MBA, Masters, or advanced degree
  • Expertise in UX and design processes and best practices
  • Ability to think strategically and operationally, delivering day to day while defining and leading future direction.
  • Strong sense of brand and editorial voice, with the ability to harmonize messages across multiple channels and marketing vehicles.
  • A demonstrated ability to leverage customer research to develop strategies and message matrix that deliver brand growth.
  • Advance decision-making skills with proven ability to lead influence, align and inspire teams, including those that are not direct reports.
  • Team player and leader with the ability to influence, work cross-functionally, build relationships with key stakeholders, and thrive in a highly collaborative fast-paced environment.
  • Strong project management skills and experience, including owning end-to-end-solutions, and managing multiple stakeholders and projects at once.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity, and ability to work independently and autonomously.
  • Experience working in a challenging, fast-paced and high-performance environment.
  • Experience working internationally.
  • Highly developed verbal and written communication skills; ability to write succinct and compelling business reviews and recommendations for Director/VP audiences.
  • Demonstrated quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to analysis data to make recommendations and drive decisions.
  • Experience working with creatives and media to create world-class campaigns
