Welcome to Costco Wholesale, the leading warehouse retailer in the country! We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Payroll Clerk. As a Payroll Clerk at Costco, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for our employees. We are looking for someone with a strong understanding of payroll procedures and regulations, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Process payroll accurately and in a timely manner for all Costco employees.
Maintain employee payroll records and ensure they are updated and accurate.
Verify and calculate employee work hours, deductions, and taxes.
Monitor and track employee time-off requests, sick leave, and vacation time.
Collaborate with HR team to ensure employee information is up to date and accurate.
Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, deductions, and benefits.
Ensure compliance with payroll laws and regulations.
Prepare and distribute paychecks or direct deposits.
Reconcile payroll discrepancies and resolve any issues that may arise.
Generate payroll reports and provide analysis to management as needed.
Participate in payroll audits and assist with the preparation of payroll-related documentation.
Stay up-to-date with changes in payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll.
Maintain confidentiality of employee information and payroll records.
Continuously identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy in payroll processing.
