We are currently seeking a proactive and people-oriented part-time Human Resources Assistant to join our growing team. In this role, you will work closely with our Human Resources Manager and contribute to sourcing top talent. Responsibilities:
- Coordinate communication with candidates and schedule interviews
- Conduct candidate interviews
- Onboard new team members
- Use social media networks (e.g. LinkedIn, Facebook, etc) to look for and connect with potential candidates
- Review online portfolios and resumes to pre-screen candidates
- Collaborate with the hiring manager to identify each position’s requirements
- Send recruiting emails and follow up with candidates
- Develop a network of potential candidates
- Log candidate information in our Applicant Tracking System and other internal databases
- Proactively source potential hires
- Measure and report on recruiting metrics, like source of hire and time-to-fill
Requirements and skills:
- Proven experience as an HR Assistant, Staff Assistant, or relevant human resources/administrative position
- Familiarity with social networks, professional sites, and resume databases
- Fast computer typing skills (MS Office, in particular)
- Familiarity with ATS software and resume databases
- Basic knowledge of labor laws
- Excellent organizational skills
- Good time-management skills
- Strong communications skills
Note:
- Please note that this is a 1099 contractor position.
- This is a REMOTE position
- You will also need to complete a background check before contracting with us.
- We're seeking applicants who are available during normal business hours, which are 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. This is not a position that you can do in addition to a full-time job - the work is not project-based.
- Please note: We are not currently hiring applicants in MT, PA, NY, NJ & CA. Applicants residing in these states will not be considered for contracting with us at this time.
