Key Responsibilities:

General Accounting Tasks: 

• Prepare, review, and reconcile general ledger entries and bank statements.
• Assist in the preparation of accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Perform data entry and ensure timely processing of accounts payable and receivable.

Financial Analysis: 

• Analyze financial statements to identify trends and variances.
• Prepare financial forecasts and budget reports to support management in decision-making processes.

Compliance and Auditing: 

• Assist in the preparation for internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with GAAP and company policies.
• Support tax preparation and compliance activities as required.

Expense Management: 

• Monitor travel and expense reports for accuracy and adherence to company policies.
• Process and approve employee expenses in a timely manner.

Collaboration and Communication: 

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Communicate financial information effectively to stakeholders at various levels of the organization.

Process Improvement: 

• Identify opportunities for process enhancements to increase efficiency and accuracy in accounting operations.
• Collaborate with team members on special projects and ad hoc reporting requests.

Requirements:

Education: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Experience: 

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a finance or accounting role, with familiarity in corporate accounting principles and practices.

Technical Skills: 

• Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar ERP systems).
• Basic understanding of financial regulations and accounting standards.
